(Kansas City, Mo.) Billy Butler has received one of Kansas City’s ultimate compliments….having a BBQ sandwich named after him. Zarda BBQ has created the “Billy’s Ton of BBQ” Sandwich in honor of Hit it a Ton, Billy’s food and fund raising campaign that benefits Bishop Sullivan Center’s food pantries and community kitchen. For a fifth baseball season, Billy and his wife Katie will donate a ton of food (a $250 donation) every time Billy hits a home run, and a half ton ($125) for every double.

We’re looking for Crew Members who are…
Not afraid to smile.
Our employees are the sauce on the slab. And it’s not just the ribs and beans our customers come back for – it’s the commitment to friendly and attentive customer service shared by everyone from our Managers to our Crew Members.
I get pretty fired up about eating at a family-owned barbecue restaurant with one-of-a-kind flavors. So when I entered Zarda Bar-B-Q in Lenexa and learned there are 24 – yes 24 – secret herbs and spices in Zarda’s zesty Original barbecue sauce that is constantly glazed over the beef briskets, ribs and pork as the meat slowly smokes over hickory, well, let’s just say I was in hog heaven.
