To celebrate the Royals lead with first place in the Division, and taste a little Billy Butler “Hit It A Ton” Rally sauce paired with KC’s Legendary Bar- B-Q, SungWoo Lee joined Billy Butler for lunch Tuesday at Zarda Bar-B-Q in Lenexa.
“I like the sauce” said Lee.
He and Billy enjoyed Billy’s namesake “Ton of BBQ” sandwich and a sampling of Zarda’s best ribs, meats, beans and coleslaw.
While dining with Butler, Lee saw himself on a Zarda TV screen tuned to Sports Center – placing the “W” for win in the outfield.
“I love the KC Royals and the people of Kansas City,” said Lee.
Butler assured Lee that they’d find spot for a fan as dedicated as him on the Royals:
“I’m sure we can make room on the plane for Sung Woo – he needs to stay in KC!” said Butler
Proceeds from sales of the Hit It A Ton sauce go to the Bishop Sullivan Center, which feeds Kansas City families in need through its community kitchen and two food pantries.
