Billy Butler’s Hit it a Ton Barbecue Sauce
Proceeds from a barbeque sauce named after Kansas City Royal Billy Butler will go to a good cause.
The new sauce is produced by Zarda BBQ and is available at their restaurants as well as area Hy-Vee and Price Chopper locations.
“It’s great for the charity, and Zarda’s has been great with it,” Butler told KMBC’s Karen Kornacki on Thursday. “They’ve done pretty much anything we could ask them to do. This is going right back to the charity, it’s a great cause. It’s awesome to have.”
Proceeds will go to Butler’s and the Bishop Sullivan Center’s “Hit-a-ton” program, which helps feed folks needing assistance.
