Zarda’s two locations in Blue Springs and Lenexa, which both offer one of the few true barbecue drive-thru experiences, are built for the times we now live in. The windows are open and ready to take your order should you decide on a whim to grab some barbecue for lunch or dinner.
Guests can also order online, with curbside carryout available. Zarda’s chief operating officer Terry Hyer rolled out the curbside service right before dining rooms closed due to COVID-19; now, he’s thankful he did, as it has become the new normal for restaurants open and operating during this time.
To take advantage of Zarda’s curbside carryout, simply place your order online, specify your desired pickup time and describe the make and model of your vehicle. Then, you’ll put up to one Zarda’s designated spots and a staff member will come to your car to get your name before returning with your order.
For lunch, consider one of Zarda’s special sandwich meal deals, like the limited reserve sandwich meal deal, with options including signature sandwiches like the Average Joe or Turkey Crunch. The Hog Wild is a particular favorite; it features tender ham and pulled pork topped with melted Provolone cheese and two strips of bacon on a soft Roma bun and comes with your choice of a classic side and a medium drink for $12.99.
For dinner, you can’t go wrong ordering a few of Zarda’s meat platters made to feed a family, with a smattering of sides to share. The restaurant is also happy to cater even larger meals, ensuring you have more than enough for leftovers for the whole family to heat and eat during the week. Simply call ahead to place a catering order directly with the restaurant.
Open Monday through Sunday from 11am to 8pm at both locations, Zarda makes it easy to feed a hungry crowd a barbecue feast at home.
