Zarda is excited to announce the reopening of our dining rooms at both locations starting Monday, June 22nd, 2020! (And we can’t wait to welcome you back!) While we are excited to make this announcement, please know we are placing the highest priority on the safety of our great customers and Zarda team members. As such we are following all CDC guidelines as well as state, county and city reopening standards and best practices.
When you visit our reopened dining rooms, you will notice plexiglass barriers located at all registers as well as floor markers with 6-foot separation marks between customers waiting to order. In the seating area, some tables and booths will be marked as “closed” to allow proper separation between our diners. All available tables will be thoroughly sanitized before and after each party.
There will be no sauces or other condiments placed on tables. Instead you can choose your favorite Zarda sauce when you place your order and you will receive the sauces of your choice when your number is called to come to the counter for pickup. Order numbers will be called one at a time when meals are ready so customers can maintain separation at the designated food-pickup counter.
Drink refills will be handled exclusively by Zarda staff, just come to the counter and your soft drink will be refilled with a new, clean cup. Crowd size will be monitored at all times at both locations, and once capacity is reached, a designated Zarda door person will admit new guests as other guests leave. Outdoor dining on the west side alcove area of the Lenexa location has been added to increase capacity at that store. These are just a few of the many procedures we are implementing to do our best to maintain the safety and health of our employees and customers.
Last but not certainly least, we offer our sincere thanks for your amazing support of Zarda in Blue Springs and Lenexa over the past few months by taking advantage of our drive-thru lanes and curbside to go service (which we will continue to offer along with online ordering). We are a locally owned and operated business and we could not have survived the last few months without your patronage! We can’t wait to welcome you back into our dining rooms once again – and we are eternally grateful for the continued support of you, our amazing customers!
